Dear Parents,                                                           

Welcome to our school.  I hope that this web site will be helpful to you as a source of reference. Our school is a Church of England Voluntary Aided School serving an area of Toothill and Freshbrook in the middle of  West Swindon.  The school is named after Bishop Oliver Tomkins who was the Bishop of Bristol from 1959-1975.  He officially opened the school  in May 1980.   In September 2005 our new building was opened by the Bishop of Swindon to celebrate our 25th anniversary.

I will be pleased to discuss any matters relating to the education of your children.  I will see you at any time, if the need is urgent, but I would appreciate it if you could make an appointment in normal circumstances, either by telephone or letter.
